World Champion competitor, dancer, instructor and choreographer with a foundation in various dances since her early years. She has taught thousands of students worldwide since 1995 and performed alongside top singers, bands & dancers in the industry, as well as being featured in multiple newspapers, TV and radio shows. Her impressive titles include 3 times Canadian Bachata Champion, 2nd runner up World Bachata Champion and multiple times Toronto Salsa Champion. Tania is now one of the most recognized and sought after dance instructors for clubs, parties, and special events, with work in North & South America, as well as Asia.
The ideas come from the mind, the movements from the body but the dance comes from your heart and soul. From a very early age, Tania’s love for dancing has guided her through good and hard times, offering a safe haven for dreams, emotions and passion. While excelling in Salsa, Bachata, Ballet, Kizomba & Semba, Tania has embraced many other genres including Ballroom, Argentine Tango, Zouk, Swing, Lyrical, Flamenco, Hip Hop, and more.

Tania has had the pleasure of performing extensively with such renowned companies as Alma Latina Dance Company, Yamulee Dance Company, and the Hong Kong Ballet Group. Her performance credits include dancing alongside and opening for renowned bands and singers such as Marc Anthony, Prince Royce, Aventura, Eddie Santiago, Oscar D’Leon, El Gran Combo, Guayacan, Frankie Negron, DLG, Marcy Place, Maelo Ruiz, Alex Matos, and Charanga Harbanera! Stage experiences include shows and congresses in North and South America, as well as all across Asia; and for corporations such as Canadian Tire, Planters, Flight Networks, the Canadian Cancer Society and more.

Competition drives us to improve but also introduces us to new concepts, techniques and great friends . Tania is a Salsa & Bachata Champion, winning titles in various World & National Competitions.

TEACH
Since 1995, Tania has taught Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Chacha, Ballet, Jazz and Creative dance classes at various dance schools, community centers and dance clubs, bringing her love of dance to students from 2 to over 70 years old! While her technique is regularly praised she is most proud to receive comments of Energetic, Entertaining, and Engaging! In 2007, Tania opened her own school Dance ConneXion, such that she can devote in spreading her passion and knowledge of dance to those who would like to learn and experience!
Tania is passionate about teaching and determined to spread the joy she finds from dancing to all. In 2007, she created Enamorarse Dance – Spanish for “To Fall in Love in Dance” (now Dance Connexion) – a pioneer dance school that brings the hottest trends in dance and fitness in addition to conventional numbers. She also directs the official Toronto branch for world renowned Alma Latina Dance Company (Alma Toronto) & Yamulee Dance Company (Yamulee Project Toronto). She has been featured on RogersTV, WowTV, Sing Tao Daily & Ming Pao Daily. Tania is now one of the most recognized and sought after dance instructors for clubs, parties, and special events, with work in North & South America, as well as Asia.
